My husband has unfortunately been duped by this company - Clearview partnership. Started with hard sale on Carbon emmisions and he unfortunately has since gone on to invest large sums of money in gems and oil. Portfolio of investment was supposed to go to auction Dec 13. SCAM Call to say there's fraudulent activity with my national insurance number and its time sensitive and I need to speak to a detective. Clearly a scam of sorts.
Male voice with an American accent said thank you for your response, I will now pass you to (missed that bit) who will ask you a few more questions.. I hung up at that point.

SCAM - a recorded message claiming to be from the national crime office stating that my National Insurance number has been associated with various crimes (or some such drivel). Who would have thought the national crime office were using a plain old 3 network number instead of a private number? Not the first time I've heard from these twits. Number now blocked.

NEVER call these numbers back or you may get caught for a huge call charge.
This number called my elderly mums number, I answered, they said it was something to do with Windows then mentioned computer, I told them not to ring this number again that there was no computer at the property and to remove our number from their database, I was rudely informed that if they were to do that we would be charged, and they could ring as many times as they wished.
Tole me I had to call back some other number otherwise I would have to go to court definately a scam as I have not been made aware of any issues so
