This number called me today while I was in class and my phone started flashing I looked at it under the table and it said it was from Manchester

It s AirBnB. You can attach the internal messaging system to text your phone when someone responds to a message etc. AirBnB use several different numbers to do this. This is one of them.

Keep calling my elderly father. Say they're from BT and threatening to cut off his connection. When I phone them back they don't answer but it's a Sky voicemail.

Last night I received a call from this number and a man asked to speak to my husband. When I asked what it was about he said he was from Chase Alexander. I asked for more details and he hung up This morning he phoned again and again said he was from Chase Alexander and wanted to speak to my husband. When I asked him what he was calling about he said it was in regard to an accident. I informed him my husband had not had an accident could he be more specific. I got a missed call from them at 17.15pm this evening. so I got online to checkout the number, so glad I did. It s a scam. Will not be answering my phone to them in near future.

18 Oct 2021 - cheeky git tried threatening me with court . Claiming was calling from HMRC and i owed tax. Asked him to confirm when its for and turns out it was 2020, well i, along with a lot of the population was on furlough. I basically argued its HMRCs responsibility to calculate what i pay so its not my fault. Ive had no communication in the post and he will have to take me to court.
