called but cut off when the answer machine cut in, so presumably trying to sell or do a survey. it s such fun to let the machine take the calls, if someone starts to leave a message I pick up.
02477220378 called me 10:20 am Tuesday 24 Aug 2021. It rung twice, and before I had time to get to my phone, they had rung off. As I don't know anyone in Coventry, conclude that it's a call centre or scammer.

Called me and said they are from HMRC contacting me regarding tax fraud and tax evasion I have committed and said that if I wont listen to what they have to tell me, arrest order will be issued within the next hour. I asked what exactly I have committed but got no answer and then I said I am pretty sure they are not from HRMC and asked to confirm my NI number. Had 9 calls on Tuesday, I didn t answer as i d left my phone at home. Answered the 3rd call on Wednesday, Guy asking for Bank details to set up contract for phone. Recorded message telling me there was an investigation on my national insurance number, suspected of being involved with fraud or something. Pressed 1 to be connected to an operator (might as well waste their time) but as soon as it connected they hung up on me. Phone scammers not wanting to take a phone call? HOW do they expect to defraud me of money if they won't even talk to me? :-)

SCAM - Robotic recorded voice saying i have a tax fraud case against me, tells me to press 1. DOI NOT PRESS 1 as this will probably incur massive charges to your phone.
Claimed to be from Tesco. Even left a message, which is unusual for nuisance calls. I have nothing to do with Tesco and my number is ex-directory.

SCAM Sent SMS including a link. Said I had missing census information and not updating this may result in £1000 fine. Said for me to click the link to update information to avoid having to pay any fines in future. I clicked the link but phone detected the link as unsafe and sent me a full red screen reading: “DECEPTIVE WEBSITE DETECTED” and gave me a choice to proceed or to go back to previous page. Don’t be fooled like I was! You may not be so lucky as to dodge the negative consequences like I was!

I missed a call, tried to call back - I was expecting a call from unknown mobile number. It cuts off. I sent a message, it bounces back as "phone number is formatted incorrectly". I found others are looking up for a very similar number, just last digits differ, so I guess this is a spam also.
Recorded message threatening to take £300 from my account. Didn't say which member of the family they were referring to. Hung up.
