Repetedly keeps ringing claiming to be different things. On the last call i threatened them that if there in the uk i will find them.... No idea if it will work or not but there has been at least ten calls in the last week mostley telling porkys

Calls are at least - being stopped by Call Guardian which is built into the phone. So, the phone rings once, the Guardian kicks in and asks for the caller s identity. However, since this has never been given (and any such call is then terminated by Guardian), we assume they coming from an automated system. We just wish the system would give up on us!

Had two calls from this number recently, so thanks for this info. I will tell them to delete my number from their database.

Annoying call trying to find out if i have had an accident in the last 3 years to make a claim.

A woman with a West African accent phoned me at 4.30 pm on 12th July 2012. She asked me how my "claim" was progressing and whether she could help. Obviously a telemarketing call because there was the usual buzz of conversation in the background. The annoying thing is that I m on the Telephone Preference List of people who should *NOT* be contacted by telemarketers. Unfortunately, it doesn t seem to have worked in this case. This number called while I was out. I did not have time for checks when I got home (most calls I get are of the nuisance variety) so did not ring back. Afterwards I discovered it was the Talk Talk imposters who have been bothering me for a couple of years.
