I get calls from this number, when I asked where they got my number from was told the standard lie "opt-in data" or "they bought a list of numbers". These people are liars as they wanted to help me reclaim money IF i had taken out any credit - I have never taken out any credit so they are just trying their luck and calling anyone and harrassing them. Call from this number followed a spam text from a claims management company (I responded to the text to try to find out who sent it). Wouldn t identify the company or admit that the text was spam, but claimed it had been sent as a result of a mistake on their database.

Colin, it's more than a nuisance. It is actually illegal to make a silent call. This should be reported to Ofcom.
