Fraud Wanting my bank account as they said I was being arrested for tax evasion then hung up when I said I’m don’t feel this call is genuine and I was going to call HMRC on a different number
Call received regarding the 20 interest I paid to the HMRC for my PPI claim that I should be able to claim backquot Woop Woop the excitement I felt was a big fat ZERO as I have never made a PPI claim and if I did should the company I did the claim with not contact me to arrange the refund to me I advised the lovely lady who loved calling me Ms Amanda that I am not interested in the scam or in giving them any of my bank details and to remove me from the database immediately

Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. It says this is Clearanswer, a marketing company and one of BTs partners.....comments from the general public seem to suggest otherwise. A very foreign voice suggested my BT contract was coming to an end. I don’t discuss new contracts with a cold caller. When I said it wasn’t due to be renegotiated she hung up...not the sort of thing a genuine person would do.

Got a call from 01997 617418 and he said he was called “Daniel”, obviously incorrect based on accent. He said he was from Curry’s PC World! Stating he was doing mobile phone upgrades. Upon notification of the fact I had already upgraded recently he hung up.

Automated call A number that shows up as a local call on my landline (without prefix)..However, it is followed by the well-known 7 bleeps and a pre-recorded message saying "Thank you for calling". I have received hundreds of calls of this type from numbers all over the country. Why it seems to be impossible to put a stop to the company that is responsible for these nuisance calls is something I simply do not understand.
Foreign man (Asian?) said my name. I asked for his name and what he wanted. He said Martin and it was about my computer conection. My reply was:- So you're a scammer, and I'll report you. He rang off and I blocked the number.
