Six calls so far today, each one claims to be from BT and calling about my internet. When I say that they're not who they are they either hang up or argue that they are from BT. If asked to remove my number they do the same, then I get another call an hour or so later. They do not take no for an answer. Obviously using false names, company name and a number which purports to be in UK.

This number and more simular 0161 939 numbers keeps ringing my landline, despite being registered with TPS for 3 years. Everytime I answered the phone to them, it is same storyline again. Some chap tells me that will be receiving a letter in the post about my PPI claim I made. I believe this to be a telephone/banking scam. They purported to be my bank but they said they wanted me to open another account and transfer money from my account into this other account - at that point I stopped the call and called the number on the back of my debit card and reported the call to my bank fraud department.
