Caller says he's from Carphone Warehouse and they have a deal. I told them I'm not interested and requested to remove my number off their list. I've blocked the number now.

No idea who called or why

This number has been calling for month, plus this number has been ringing me sometimes right after each other and it is a nuisance sometimes 6 or 7 times a day. Call centre car accident chasers

Rude Asian man telling me about a problem with my computer. His supervisor called me back and asked why I had been rude to his staff. I told him that he was rude by saying that he would put a block on my computer and I would have to pay to get it working again. The 3rd call was just shouting at me in a foreign language. Calls 4 and 5 were silent but I could hear the same people in the background.

Just had this number call - but I never pick up the phone. Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. My advice, which works a treat: tell all your real contacts to call you for the first 4 or 5 beeps, then to put the phone down. They said call was to update my cover for my central heating boiler, which was £20 month and they were reducing it to £16 a month, yeah right!

Called my mobile and asked for me by name. Claimed to be from Nationwide Building Society and started trying to confirm my postcode. When I asked to be told why they were calling first they hung up. I suspect this to be a scam.

Has called repeatedly over the last couple of weeks. Never leaves a message. Often rings twice with just seconds between calls.
