An Asian sounding woman claimed she was from BT and was she speaking to the person who pays the bills etc. I said no, but my husband would be home at 6.30pm so call back. The woman immediately said that it was important information she had that our computer has been hacked and this could be dangerous. I said no thanks and put the phone down. Considering I don't have a computer I can only assume this was a dangerous scam for others to watch out for.

An Indian sounding woman called Lisa. They called about an accident, they couldn't name the person that had the accident, what kind of accident or when. I asked where they got my number from and that was against data protection also. I asked them to remove my number from their list. I have now blocked them with my call blocker pro.

This number keeps ringing. No idea why. My young daughter answered today and didn t catch what the man said, so she said "excuse me?" To which he replied "it s pardon me"!!. When she asked who was calling, he asked who she was. It must have been clear he was talking to a child so this was totally unacceptable! My daughter was quite upset by his rudeness. When I said again I had not been in any accident, he hung up. Using an Edinburgh number but the people are always English so assume it's a call centre based there masking their number.
