Fraud - Smarmy British guy claimed to be a 'local energy adviser', and said "How are you today? I said "I'm sick of unsolicited calls. Please take my number off your list and don't call again", then hung up. Another person reports on a different website that same number rang them this morning too, but claiming to be a 'local' loft insulation company, yet it's a Bournemouth code and they don't live there! BEWARE! Obviously a scam of some kind. Happened 11.25am on 9th November 2021.
Silent call, nuisance calls at all hours, no one speaks and hangs up. Suspect this is one of a number of Northwich phone numbers in some sort of new scam to get the recipient to call back.

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. 0161 820 3548 First Response accident claims @ 3.24pm on 26th May 2016 Man just called me with the same accident response claim cr*p as others have reported. This is the 3rd call from the same person in the past 2 weeks! Each time I have asked them to take us off their list but they keep on calling.

scam phone call, from a man who claimed he was ‘calling about loft insulation that had previously been installed’ and went on to say that they ‘needed to visit to do a free inspection for damp and mould’. when I told them I have never had loft installation installed they hung up. They have called 3 days in a row now with this scam, always introduces himself as Tom but does not state what company he is calling from

Man with Indian accent asked for me by name, claiming to be calling in relation to DNS mail server problems. Asked if my computer has been running slowly or with issues and then asked if I was happy for him to go ahead with fixing it. I am ex-directory and TPS registered etc so asked how he got my details which he then claimed he got from my ISP. Clearly that wouldn t happen due to data protection so I asked for his company name and contact details so I could call them later. He said i could check them out

22/9/18 9.22am automated message American female telling me I urgently needed to call back or get my solicitor to call back re. HMRC issue. Tbh I knew it was a scam straight away so didn?t listen to the whole message & hung up.

SCAM Warning asks you to enter bank card or account details and name. They text you and pretend you have missed a parcel (no information is given about the parcel.) then ask for postcode (any postcode you enter always comes up with same page about try to delivery today at 11:23.) the asks for personal data name address birth date and then ask for a small fee for redelivery and ask for bank card and bank account details.

Caller identified himself as energy savings company in Great Yarmouth, and asked if I was home owner. I told him I d had a call from them a week ago and had said I wasn t interested in solar panels. He then tried to interest me in energy savings from govt scheme for new efficient boilers. Repeatedly offered me a free evaluation which I declined, then he hung up (politely) when he saw he wasn t persuading me.
