My phone is brand new from Carphone Warheouse on a Vadofone contract. I asked for no marketing calls. This was an unwanted sales call so I have decided to terminate my contract as I am within the cancellation period.

I work at this company and just thought as I always get calls from companies I don t know, I always google them, so this may help somebody that receives a call from this number. We re a main service center for many companies and a base for repairs and spares for multiple manufacturers and retailers. Call from agent for EE, which I managed to get them to verify as the number on my phone came up as possible fraud. My broadband/TV Box price has now been frozen by them for 18 next months, (EE previously sent me warning it would be going up at end of contract date) and a free upgrade to super-fast broadband, from fast. As in the other comment I was told to ring 01642850850 - this is useless. It asks you to give the name of the person and offers no other option. Since I don t know who called I was at a dead end

You say the number is based in Blackpool I know no one in that town. My number is TPS protected - for what its worth and my registration for the electoral roll, restricted.
