Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 16043109xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with insurance marketing, accident claims, PPI, financial management (loans/debts) - just usual stuff. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

I never get up to answer the phone. didn't answer, but don't recognise. on a funny note, one of the companies asked just the other day about 'my injury' to which I replied 'yes, I lost both my legs'; they asked 'oh my, when did that happen?' to which I replied 'just this morning' before laughing hysterically . . .
This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. When they call you can hear a nuisance in the background, classical open space... Nuisance call for me.
Please beware of this caller, he isnt the full picnic, very abusive and he frightened me with his abusive texts and calls please can you report him to the police if you get calls or texts from him, he must be on police records somewhere

This is a genuine number from santander fraud team. I was suspicious of the number so I rang it and explained I felt it was a scam and the advisor told me to ring the number on the back of my card which I did. And the fraud team confirmed that the text message was genuine and was from santander.
First call from this no. was on 10 Jan. Silence. Second call on 11 Jan. Silence. Third call on 12 Jan. Silence. After this I put no. in blocked sender list. Lets you know the no.called but does not ring. Today (13 Jan) had a call at 14:20hrs & 19:48hrs If they want to speak to me this badly why not

They called me pretending to be Windows support stating my ID had been compromised. They were very convincing. Got me to share laptop using Anydesk and also got me to run a WIN+r function. After they didnt call back as promised realized i had been scammed.
