These type of companies work from a dialling system where numbers are selected at random. They say they are calling about a recent accident on the off chance that the 1 in a million (slightly exaggerated) people they call say they have been in one. I like to have fun with these people and keep them on the phone asking lots of questions thinking they have secured me.......but if they get me on a bad day then they get a lot of abuse. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre.
