daily harassment! 9 times out of 10 from numbers starting 07794. No company has sent me a letter re need for payment, the 1 company it could?ve been doesn?t use capquest so I assume they are chasing a statute barred debt again. In fact capquest haven?t sent a letter either funnily enough, then they wonder why i wont give out my details for ?data protection purposes?!!! My data is already not protected!!

Called me three times in one afternoon, very annoying. I didn’t recognise the number and didn’t answer the calls.

Said he was a computer engineer, could hardly understand the Indian accent. Told him I was a qualified tech which I am. Asked him for his company name and he hung up.

I get multiple calls from these per day for the past several months. I usually don t pick up but today I did. They got my name wrong so I told them they had the wrong person. When I asked who was calling they didn t respond and insisted on asking me a few questions. I refused so they hung up before I could tell them to take my number off their data base.

Said they were in my town (I live 200 miles from London) and they were doing energy saving. Asked if it was a "Green Deal" they said it was. Told them my opinion of it...

Scam call (automated) saying that there was illegal activity on my broadband and that I was going to be disconnected if I did not connect with their technical support.

(Sorry - chose the wrong rating on first submission) Two calls today from this number, both using the same script on home security. Asked for me by name on a business line which is CPR listed so legally should not receive any unsolicited sales or marketing calls. They introduced themselves as "Crime Prevention Officers" looking into recent spate of burglaries in area and gave the impression they were connected to the police if not actually officers. Don t answer this number because 1) They re trying it on and once they know you will respond you will receive further calls from other numbers too. 2) If you answer from abroad as I did you will be charged even though they cut the call off as soon as you do answer. I was charged 50p for a 1 second call The moral is don t answer if you don t know the callers ID. I save these bogus numbers in my phone so I know not to ever answer again. I will never answer any call from an 0151 number any more.

Rang me yesterday using a none existing or spoofed UK type area code. As we have True Caller it stopped the morons disturbing us.

Claimed to be BT (or rather, "BT's outbound team, working for BT", rang my landline but also knew my mobile as they had a PIN sent to it. I said it was a scam and hung up.

Caller asked for help but would not identify themselves. Obviously reading a script. Suspect scam call.

My partner received numerous calls saying his number was on some guys girlfriends phone we quickly realised it was an automatic recorded voice as if you don t speak it carries on speaking as though having a conversation ect. We got bored and hung up and then the same number called my mobile it highlighted as spam on the call but I answered but it was some American woman saying my number was on her guys cell (hmm funny there was no caller area code just a blatant UK mobile number that called) we had the same

Girl with indistinct squeaky voice ... eventually ... poor line but could make out "... accident that was not your fault ..." This came 5 minutes after another "unknown" number that I had just checked on this site and now know know who it was, because I need my tumble dryer fixing before it bursts into flames.

Calling me to follow up a PPI claim from a few weeks ago(which never happened) I didn t give them any details but they already knew a few things about me (name,home & mobile no. And what bank I use!) Asked me to give more info (card details, previous addresses) scam if I ever see one!!

Never had an account with sp. Don t even know how they got my phone number yet they re constantly calling and asking I pay a debt of over £1000 for an address i have never even hear of. Told them they have wrong number yet still get phone calls up to 6 times a day.

Loan company. Now blocked.
