Phoned me today re TV monthly payment reducing to 5 pound. Only hung up when I told him I didn't pay any in first place, said it was annual payment and I might not notice.

Absolute scum! He told me I'd had an accident so I asked him to give me the details. He wouldn't tell and just said it wasn't a difficult question to answer. I told him not to get cheeky with me but he carried on. I said he was wasting my time and he asked me why!!! I told him to take my number off the system or I would go to OFCOM and he got very rude and hung up. I get a lot of junk calls but this guy was seriously offensive.

I called Capita to discuss about shares they held for me for 27 minutes and was led to believe from their litrature that it would cost 12p a minute. I was charged £15.13 access charge and another £3.30 for service. Total £18.43 bandits !

Called British gas and asked if the number belonged to them they checked and its the prepayment team Number I called was number on the bill
Claimed they had a file about the car accident I was in, but when I asked them for my name they were unable to answer it. I can only assume it was a very small file with just my telephone number lol. Reported the call to ico.org.uk.

Because it was a local number I called it back and got some garbled message regarding Scottish Power. two minutes later my husband received a call from the same number with the same reaction.
