They called me a few moments ago and, wwhen I asked where they got my number, they became rude and evasive so I hung up. An Indian sounding woman rang straight back demanding to know why I "Cut the call". We had a row and I hung up again. Believe it or not, she rang straight back again. I became quite blunt at this stage, eventually telling her to, and I'll put this euphemistically, "go forth and multiply". She lied when we argued, saying I had volunteered my number (I am ex-directory),

After I had caught the post I returned and looked up the number. I am grateful to Stitchy for information provided. The most likely reason for the call was to offer services. Following day delivery is received but it’s the wrong phone in my case two phones IPhone 11 & iPhone 12 Carphone Warehouse call you advising they have made a mistake and ask you to return the delivery to 11 Carter Street Accrington BB5 0PY Please don’t the address is an empty building.
