Kept getting calls from 0161 850XXX. XXX differs each time. I never answer as my phone displays scam or telemarketer. Today when I had a missed call I phoned back as I am fed up with them ringing and my number is registered with TPS. Bloke said they had been trying to contact me regarding my Legal & General life insurance. I told him I don't have a life insurance and asked why they kept calling when my number is TPS registered. I also told him when they phone I don't answer as my phone says its a scam call.

Scam - Caller said that they were from Microsoft and, over the last four days, they have received notification that hackers etc had got access to my computer. If I turned on my computer they would be able to clear them from it. When I said it was a scam, I was told that if I did not let them remove the hackers, Microsoft would have to stop any computer from being able to work from my address in the future.

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. i missed a payment a few days ago now ive had several calls which they choose to let it ring 3 times then hang up only to do same thing over n over! they have already added a charge for non payment yet there harassing me non stop get a grip littlewoods been with ya for 14yrs never missed a payment n this is how you treat your customers shoddy customer service think i might invest in a fog horn :)
