Yet another call about an injury resulting from an accident and my insurance claim. (1) I have not had an accident, therefore (2) I have not suffered an injury and (3)I have not, and do not want to, make an insurance claim! Two calls in the space of an hour.

Some guy said he was a windows technician and i had been hacked according to their data base. he said go on your pc hit ther windows key and r then type cmd then he blerted out the number at the bottom to try to reassure me he was a good guy. **SCAM** Same as last review - called from 'Vodafone' & said someone had changed my phone number. Recieved text with code during the call. I asked him to call me back in 30 mins, he said "why, are you busy"? He couldn't verify he was from Vodafone and said they'd send an email (not recieved an hour later..). Checked my Vodafone account and no activity. TBH I'm used to being ripped off by Vodafone but at least I can see it happening :)

This individual chose to ring my house number asking for a club. The number was a business number previously but we haven t had nuisance calls on this scale before. Call from a lady trying to get £249 out of me for an anti bullying campaign I had allegedly signed up to last year. She was very convincing and said I'd receive a thank you pack and what school would I like the bullying pack to be sent to. I told her I had no recollection of ever agreeing to sponsor such a thing. She gave me a web address of www.thepreventioncentre.org which shows they are legit...no such website exists, just websites that suggest this is a scam. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BANK DETAILS!

Automated call claiming to be a survey. Message said, “Hello, we are conducting a survey. Press 1 if you are registered as a Democrat”. Seems suspicious, hung up. TPS Registered, and while political canvassing is excluded, this didn’t feel like a UK party call.
