Calls to our (call screened, not on BT) number from 0800 044 5265. No message left, multiple attempts on multiple days. Calling that 0800 number says they are Stellar a partner of BT, and to call BT on 0800 028 2272. Don t bother if you aren t on BT. They ll tell you "you aren t on BT, we have no record of you!". Useless. A websearch for Stellar suggests 01294 225300. Calling that number: 1) they confirm the 0800 044 5265 caller ID is them calling on behalf of BT. 2) They ll remove our number from

The usual call from an Asiam woman using an Enlish name (Aimy) saying my computer was infected with a virus
Another call from The People s Opinion representing the leading brands etc. London number but it s not: "Paul Connor" who in common with all his colleagues, had a heavy Asian accent, admitted that he was calling from South East Asia. As usual I asked for my number to be deleted from their calling database. I stand a better chance of meeting the Pope or the Queen for tea.
American female voice saying bt internet line would be disconnected and asking me to press numbers. Obviously a scam. Do not press any numbers, just close the call.

Called twice today. Answered 2nd call - "Mike (Punjabi) Smith", from 'BT'. Foreign person using my IP address for illegal purposes - would need to disconnect my internet for 5 days. Told me to hit CTRL+R and Windows key and enter something.
