SCAM - Just had a call saying they were contacting me about upgrading my phone, so I wasn't best pleased about being disturbed when I'm not feeling well with a very heavy cold. I knew it was a scam straight away as there was no link to my existing provider, so I informed the caller of that and told him to "Bu**er off"! Suggest others do the same.
It should be finally done something against such people. I keep receiving phone calls, in which immediately hung up. That s idiocy.

Called about a car accident that I had supposedly had. Told them to remove my number from their database and not call again.

Scam call from HMRC. Caller message is in an American accent and when you call back its an offshore rather than UK dial tone and they answer as HMRC - clearly a scam of some sort and not a very convincing one. Caller blocked but beware!!!
Said they are from carphone warehouse but could be any fraudster trying to gain personal information. Hung up when I refused give personal details and repeatedly said that they shouldn’t be calling TPS registered numbers.
Caller identifies they are from Choice UK but always put the phone down when asked for their head office address. Calls are now twice to three times a day.

I haven t been with Sky for years, told him I now have Freesat, but he still asked if I would consider going back! That would be like me being given £28 a month for nothing...

I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. It’s a scam, claimed to be from a bank and not enough funds in bank to complete transactions. Very bad line and eventually the caller hung up, daughter rang number back and it’s not recognised.

Most likely phishing? Who knows? Just opened the damn thing by mistake! Says received one new photo from zokobo.com with a link, just deleted it, don t know exactly how someone who knows me well enough to send a photo 1. Wouldn t spell my name right 2. Wouldn t send it by email! Hacked off with this almost it seems constant intrusion of unknown quantities...
