I was ripped off by a free to enter competition which as taken over ?25 on my mobile account. Why don t mobile stop the payment they must know that this is a scam if not they need telling

"James Brown" from Belfast with a thick indian accent and didn t know the address of the company he worked for trying to push a "Government" boiler scheme. Total scam!

Claims to be a debt collection agency on behalf of Paypal (Yes I do have an ongoing dispute with Paypal), Google seems to support this fact. However after he asked me to confirm security details, I told him no - and I will only discuss/deal with Paypal direct. He told me I d receive a letter and email from them, again I said unless it comes from Paypal - I ain t dealing with you. Caller hung up.

Not a day goes by without a moron calling from this number and asking to speak to a Mr Green. The same person calls on a different number if you block the number they are calling from. They are of course cretins who have little understanding of the simple English word "NO". I leave the phone off the hook and let the idiot babble on at No expense to me . a company cold called me today offering me £2000 gauranteed in my account in 45 minuets..all i had to do is send them..£110..via a card i get from my local shop..what made things sound dodgy is he was ringing me back ten minuets later asking if i sent the money.i said no as i cant afford £110 pound so he said how much can i afford i said £90 & he agreed to take £90 ..i then thought this was a scam as a legitimate company wouldnt do that..as ive read on some threads this company is a scam....loans & finance

Very aggressive sales calls

These people have called my home several times a day while I have been out at work and keep on calling through the evening. The one time I was home and answered they hung up.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Also, my advice is not to take up credit or accept a credit cards from Vanquis Bank as they are extremely aggressive in their debt collection. Do the research and see how unhappy peo

Boiler-room green "investment" scam. Do not give any information. Very agressive marketing until I insited that I never do any business with cold-calls. They eventually hung up on me when it was obvious I was on to them.
