I received a call from someone on this number. They claimed to be from BT, I am with Virgin but he claimed that BT support Virgin. He told me that my IP address has been tracked and made public. I cut him off there and told him I thought this was a scam. He said that I could check out his credentials by calling a phone number, I put the phone down.

Apparently this number belongs to a firm that has accused people of having debts when they do not, but just as many people have picked up the call to be greeted by silence. I get calls from criminals trying to get information daily so have stopped answering when I do not recognise the calling number.

I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Just received a call from this number. Guy in a busy call centre said he was calling about mis-sold finance or payment protection insurance prior to 2011. Said I d never had anything on finance, and the guy said he would remove my details from the database. In reality this just means they won t phone you again for that particular campaign, but you can guarantee your details are not deleted. Re comments about CV library from others on this page, this is quite coincidental because I have my details on CVli

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 20331881xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident chasers, insurance marketing - "Have you been involved in a car accident that wasn't your fault?". Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

Spoke to a lady who informed me that I had popped up on their system as being owed money regarding PPI. She didn't skip a beat before moving straight on to ask if I had had been in any debt management plans or made bankrupt etc. Explained that I was not willing to give personal information and that I had already claimed my PPI back. She asked if I had received less than £1200 as that would be why I had appeared on their system. I informed her that we both knew that was rubbish and just marketing spiel
