called claiming to be from the insurance firm i have a motor accident claim in progress with. They asked how the accident happened (claiming they wanted to check accuracy of the information they had on file). The number was different to the ones my real insurance company call me from, so i suspect they were looking to offer some compensation claim service.
Apparently an auto-dialler. Hung up almost immediately. Rang the number on a spare PAYG mobile phone and the line is dropped immediately and doesn t connect.
