This number called me today. I called back and the agent who is also the voicemail voice for ‘Mortgages London’ asking ‘Hi, is this Leah?’. I’m a man. They then called back, and when they heard my voice said ‘Sorry, wrong number’ and hung up. Disgraceful spamming people when they are at work.

Called from this number 08.31 today - caller claimed to be from my bank and that there had been suspicious payments on my bank card. This was followed by the usual requests that I press numbers to confirm or reject these payments, I did neither just hung up and checked my bank information.

SPAM - Welsh man from call centre said he was from Protective Life (or something) told him I wasn't interested and to take me off his list. Asked for me by my first name, (the cheek of it). Then claimed to be from social housing repair, as we all know there is no such company (a legit one anyway). Furthermore, I know that my landlord do not deal with anyone that would just cold call tenants, especially one that uses an asian call center. Yet more thieving scumbags who should be ashamed of themselves.

This is a scam. They claim to be calling from DHL about an unpaid import duty charge but they haven’t even got the right amount! I’d already had an email from DHL a few days earlier. Didn’t ask for payment over the phone but sent an email. What bothers me is that they had my home phone number, my email address (the payment link was in a very poorly constructed fake email from ‘George Spofforth’) & the DHL waybill number. Serious data breach going on here.

SCAM- knew my name and said it was a very urgent call re a technical difficulty with my policy which meant my life assurance policy could not be renewed. I told him I wasn't interested in scams and hung up. He then tried to ring me back 5 times. I have now blocked the number.

SCAM Woman with strong foreign accent claimed to be from 'BT technical department' (immediately obvious not genuine) and said they had received notifications that my internet was being used by others fraudulently. Pointed out BT not my provider which she ignored, she then tried to guess some letters from my email to 'send me a verification' and when I said that wasn't my email, accused me of lying!!!! Presumably hoping I'd supply my actual email.
