Spoke to a lady who informed me that I had popped up on their system as being owed money regarding PPI. She didn't skip a beat before moving straight on to ask if I had had been in any debt management plans or made bankrupt etc. Explained that I was not willing to give personal information and that I had already claimed my PPI back. She asked if I had received less than £1200 as that would be why I had appeared on their system. I informed her that we both knew that was rubbish and just marketing spiel

Said they were from Sky. 1st lady's English was not very good and she did not understand my questions. Asked me to google speed test. Did not understand when I asked if that was all one word or 2 words, must be a question asked by others Im sure.. She passed me on to another lady and she was not much better. I ended the call as I felt sure SKY would employ people with better spoken English than this for a customer service job. This felt wrong so Im going to say its dangerouse. no evedence however.

Supposedly from Microsoft, again, a lot of call centre like chatter. Indian man said he was from Microsoft. I said I was only 15 - actually 21, he was happy about this and still asking if I owned the computer in which he had the Id or some sort of computing address, I said that I don't have a computer - which I do, and he called me a liar and said that he knows I have a computer !. I then said I was ringing the police as I had their number and he offered to pay me not to as he was the real deal!, bloody idi

Received a text today (18/02/16) saying I'm due an early upgrade, call this number to receive an iPad etc... I called EE directly and they confirmed they never sent out a text of that kind to me. All seems a little dodgy to me.

SCAM Claims to be from O2 and sends texts messages during the call requesting that you tell the caller the code that is in the message for a 40% discount. An obvious scam, reported to NCSC and O2 as it looks like they’re trying to scam users into giving O2 account passcodes which is fraud. Kept her talking long enough for her to become quite rude and call me a liar, I’m not even with O2 so not sure why they’d target me, certainly not an O2 employee anyway.
