i was taken in by idc, they said i had overpaid my business rates by £10,000 and they could get it back. i paid them £50.00 + vat.after 8 months i received a letter from them, stating i was unsucessful in my appeal.igot someone else to look into this matter, and i was imformed that idc had lodged an appeal but withdrew it 2 days later !!. i live close to bolton, and i have told them that i will be popping into the office to speak to someone face to face

My second call this morning from an 01257 number - different ones - both claiming to be a banking service who have detected suspicious activity on my account. They are both automated messages with the same female voice and both claim withdrawals from my (unspecified) account from the same places (Amazon and overseas) but quote different amounts. 01257 is my local dial code, which I suspect is meant to lend credibility to the call. Constantly calling me about switching to either smart meters or prepayment meters and constantly asking me to catch energy companies. They become very aggressive and irate of you don t listen or refuse to switch. They will ring you up to 5/6 times aday until you block their number. Extremely irritating.
