Call claiming to be from o2 regarding my mobile contract renewal (and numerous missed calls thereafter). I was suspicious so checked with o2 - they confirmed they didn't recognise the number and recommended blocking it so they can't contact me again.
Gee, quite a number of calls yesterday from this number. Thank goodness that I have a Call Blocker phone to stop this dross from spoiling my day.

These people have called me over 30 times in the last 2 weeks, the minute I blocked the number they started calling from different numbers with the same code. They have told me their website is; www.claimssolutions.com or www.claimteam.co.uk or www.compensationclaims.co.uk but I have contacted the 2 out of those 3 websites which have numbers on them and the companies have said they have a lot of this where the people calling from 01639326984 are pretending to be them. I got called by this number. Well-spoken British lady asking if I d been in an accident recently. I asked if she knew my name. It seemed to fluster her and I got a "Yes I can hear you" slow response. Then she repeated the same question with the same tone. I quickly realised it was all automated. I hate these things. If the caller is overseas I d rather hang up on a real person, rather than someone in diguise as a Brit. Lower than a snakes belly to use these tech systems to hound people.
