I received a call from this number telling me that had a call for me and that they were transferring me. I put the phone down quickly in case I would then be charged for the call.

These people keep calling me to contact someone who has never lived at my address and have consequently never been on my phone number, no matter how many times I tell them this they refuse to take my number from their records. They are parasites feeding on the backs of peoples misfortune. It should be made illegal to sell on debts, the companies that are stupid enough to lend to someone who has given them a false phone number should be made to bear the debt and any costs and responsibilities of recovery. Asian lady called at 8.45pm. Claimed to be from Lloyds Bank asked for Steven Smith (not a name known to us and generic enough to be false). Tried to obtain additional personal info.
