Scam connected to the Excel Hotel group, part of ONA Group in Spain. When rung back it goes to an international ring tone and an extension on a phone system.
I've been receiving lots of calls to my business mobile starting 0843. All of them without exception disconnect after around 3 rings. No doubt to get you to call back - so I suspect this is a scam, even though I'm the first to comment on this number here.
Heavy Asian accent, claimed to be from Citizens Advice Bureau. Asked me how I was today, I said I was fine except that my leg had just fallen off. Strangely enough, he hung up. Obvious scammers, blocked and reported.

This is a scam. They claim to be calling from DHL about an unpaid import duty charge but they haven’t even got the right amount! I’d already had an email from DHL a few days earlier. Didn’t ask for payment over the phone but sent an email. What bothers me is that they had my home phone number, my email address (the payment link was in a very poorly constructed fake email from ‘George Spofforth’) & the DHL waybill number. Serious data breach going on here.

SCAM - pretending to be from Lloyds Bank... asking to call on 01332 556003 if a standing order for £537 to NVG Life Insurance had not been set up by the recipient. Recipient has no account with LLoyds, so definitely a scam.

Then the same message in Chinese. As I did not press a button, the call ended. (And I am not waiting for a parcel). I am very suspicious, as I never got a call from Royal Mail from a mobile number, they normally leave a notification behind to pick it up yourself. SCAM Woman with strong foreign accent claimed to be from 'BT technical department' (immediately obvious not genuine) and said they had received notifications that my internet was being used by others fraudulently. Pointed out BT not my provider which she ignored, she then tried to guess some letters from my email to 'send me a verification' and when I said that wasn't my email, accused me of lying!!!! Presumably hoping I'd supply my actual email.

This number (with slight variations on the last three digits) has called four times in less than 24 hours. Did not pick up, did not recognise the number but did find that, although the number comes up as United Kingdom, the number(s) are landline in Pskov, Russia. VERY SUSPICIOUS
This number is based in Murmansk, Russia, and sent me a link. I'm sure it is a scam (at best) and at worst will skim all your data if you hit it. Delete, delete, delete!

I did not request a one time pin 2 I don't have Santander 3. The number I was asked to ring is not a Santander num. Infact, it is for a business called...CMA Somerset in Yeovil. The business may be a front for this fraud scheme. Be vigilant. Very odd.

BT Call Guardian took care of it as the spammers/scammers will never bother to 'announce' themselves... they can't when they're using autodiallers to try and connect to as many number as possible. Claimed to be from Vodafone. Said a SIM swap had been requested and wanted to check this was correct. I said it was not correct. He then said he suspected my account had been hacked and that he would sent an SMS with a code which I had to read to him. The SMS came from Vodafone and had a code with text reading 'this code gives access to your account, do not share it'. The caller was a scammer and wanted access to my account. I hung up.
