this number called my mobile while off. The next day I started receiving more calls from different numbers regarding refund claims - scams.

it rung, I answered it, they hung up. Obviously a call back ploy. Don't do it

Dropped what I was doing & raced downstairs to answer persistent call. Man with an unidentifiable accent garbled something against a cacophony of background noise sounding like the Call Centre from Hell. I asked him to repeat his sentence. He said " can I speak to the owner of the business?" Puzzled, I said " business?" At which point he rudely disconnected the call. Caller asked me also to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Fealing un easy I said call me back in 5 mins after I could check him out. Found this thread immediately blocked the number on my Pro Call Blocker box i found on ebay for ?25.

Michael from technical support rang as he said he had noticed a fault on my computer. Very likely a scam. Ended call swiftly.

It is the fraud department from M&S bank. Quite legitimate and very helpful. Someone tried to get a credit card in my name.

I have told them I am in dispute with the company which has employed them but they keep calling and saying they want to talk to me. I wrote to them and told them that I do not accept calls as everything must be in writing. They do not stop despite the industry rules.
