Apparently this number belongs to a firm that has accused people of having debts when they do not, but just as many people have picked up the call to be greeted by silence. I get calls from criminals trying to get information daily so have stopped answering when I do not recognise the calling number.

Just received a call from this number. Guy in a busy call centre said he was calling about mis-sold finance or payment protection insurance prior to 2011. Said I d never had anything on finance, and the guy said he would remove my details from the database. In reality this just means they won t phone you again for that particular campaign, but you can guarantee your details are not deleted.
