Claimed they from smart insurance & company changed from original. They knew lots of info about insurance. Asked for acc details, put phone down and immediately rang my appliance insurance company and they said they havent been taken over by smart insurance. I felt relieved that i hadnt given out my bank details but its shocking how lnowledgeable they were and the information they currency had on it. Blocked immediately. Pls beware and be careful.

SPAM guess ? They rang at 08.45 and silent. They there was a click, a background noise, then they hung up. Very annoying. Luckily I’m not old and infirm but this could unsettle an older person.

This number called twice today. The man claims to be from a mobile phone company that works with my operator. Offers better deals. and need my details, and my contract details and when I asked why he's not taking data from the screen he admitted that my details are not there and he is calling with a completely different company. Clearly scammers and it's better not to talk to this number.

Can’t find anything in a google search that confirms this. Therefore I believe this number is a scam.

Then when he asked for the year I was born, I told him 1900 and he hung up. The bloke on the other end was really thick and gullible and I hope his wife leaves him and his mother sleeps with his best friend

This number rang me at 1102am today, did not answer as I did not recognise the number, and it is not in my contacts list. Thought it was a scam call and I may be right judging by the search results.

O2 scam, if your on o2 your at risk as the scammers go on o2 website enter the code you give them then hey presto they are into your o2 account.

Says Embassy of the Republic of Korea. Unknown to me.

Texted me to say 'thank you' for completing the BT broadband survey, invited me to reply with "NEXT" to have Openreach carry out repairs free of charge. I had not completed a survey so it's obviously a scam. Very convincing text with no spelling mistakes.

Man with good English African voice, knew my first name and claimed to be from my property repairs. Clearly he was a liar as he had no connection to my area nor the my property ownership.

Caller told me they were from visa and someone was trying to use my card for something costing over £900. It said I should press 1 to cancel or 2 to go ahead. Its obviously nothing to do with Visa so I pressed nothing and hung up the call immediately.

SCAM This number called me today claiming to be from the carphone warehouse, i told them i didn't have an account with them they proceeded to say they knew and offered me a 'good deal' i said i was happy with my supplier! I was them shouted at by the caller telling me not to ring them again, i said i didn't, you rang me then the caller became abusive telling me not to answer the phone to them again!!! Complete Morons!

They then say I've got to go on website I signed up for I repeat myself again and say I've not signed up for anything they then start getting abusive calling me stupid thick white bitch. Slag shut ect tried blocking but keep changing few numbers block everytime they ring but still they get through. Reported to police but still nothing done. Just keep ringing every 30 mi

SCAM Third Chelmsford number blocked today. They hung up when I answered but upon dialling the number displayed, was met with automated message saying CB Brokers or CD Brokers. Suspect it's the same scumbags who have been scamming my elderly mother for a number of years by signing her up for appliance insurance for appliances she doesn't own.
