Text came through on my phone as Barclays - it doesn't matter who you bank with ALWAYS check with your bank or Google the number, anyone asking for bank details or card reader over a text message is screaming SCAM
they will tell you your hotel was on some sort of ABTA blacklist and you're entitled to compensation, but they know nothing about your holiday. Scam. don't fall for it.

was called with a woman saying that she had information that I was involved in a car accident and wanted to know details. I haven't been in an accident at all so I asked her who had told her I'd had an accident and where did she get my number from. She ignored that and asked me again for details of the car accident. I posed the same question again to her. She terminated the call.
