An Asian male going by the name of "Mark Bradford" rang is claiming our broadband was going to be disconnected due to suspicious stuff happening on our homehub. He gave me a BT identification number and the phone number to their call centre, when I informed him I was going to verify his credentials, he told me to ring via mobile and that if we hang up the landline, he'll disconnect the Internet then hung up. The woman told me she was from a Talk Talk department and was calling about my router. After making her repeat the same thing several times I told her I had had the same or similar calls about 150 times, knew she was nothing but a criminal and.....by that time she had rung off! As usual, the number she had used for the call was as fictitious as her story. The crooks use different invented numbers each time.
