Got the same call today from an Indian woman called "Jennifer Janet" (like f*ck)stating I had viruses. She would fix them and also upgrade my internet service! (ha ha). I played along with her until she asked me to press certain buttons on my keyboard. I pretended to do so, and when she asked "what message is displayed", that is when I tore into her calling her a scamming Indian ****** and to f*ck off! she hung up! I never answer these numbers. Always check sites like this first.???? Keep in mind delivery scams work because people often expect parcels. If in doubt hang up. Ring back using another phone, if possible.
This is a call from a firm called UK Pensions Review offering a free no obligation review of your pension. The call is triggered by a call centre in India and after a short chat with the agent there you get put through to a UK 'consultant' who talks more about a no obligation review of your pension with some worrying scaremongering stats. eg 4.0% AMC on your pension plans and recent reforms in pensions etc etc. There have been no significant reforms that would require a firm such as this to cold call people
