This site was extremely useful, as I had previously blocked this number as unknown, and therefore couldn t set my payment up. I had a call today telling me that I had a virus on my computer and that the caller could fix it - he had all my Talk Talk details. I asked him for a number so that I could verify he was genuine - he gave me the number 02031294098 - and the name Paul Watson - which was strange as he was Asian and that is a very English name! Anyway Talk Talk verified that they would never call with this information - so it is a scam - don`t give any information away.

Fraud Apparently HMRC, answered straight away, like that happens. The fraudster was very convincing and directed me through the HMRC website and told I will get a call back from the number on the website. No call back. Wife then called them and they told her the police will be at your door. Scammers need castrating
