Who s calling?" He hung up, I didn t for another 3 minutes, so presumably prevented him from bothering someone else. Reporting to ICO.

Two to three calls a day on my mobile for a week so far but they never leave a voice mail. I called back from another number and just got a looped recording saying "Integrity, Quality & Growth; these are our core values" with no mention of who they are so clearly not a legitimate or honest company. After the first call added them as a contact with a silent ring so they can keep on as long as they like and I won t be bothered.

We, the public, the people who pay a phone company serious money every month only to be pestered , and for some actually stolen from , have got to learn how to do more , and I mean more , than just close the gate each time the horse bolts. The phone companies we pay our money to don't do nearly enough to deal with this filthy virus that is growing at a seriously dangerous rate. Repeated silent calls to our TPS registered line over a period of several days.
Claimed to be from Amazon, saying that someone had placed a £~2K order on my account and I had to push 1 or 2 to resolve the issue. Checked my account, no such order. Phoned back, got some poor woman who was at a beauty appointment. Someone is managing to get around fraud prevention by spoofing the number sources.
