Kept calling - didn't leave message. Phoned them back and it's a firm selling "Over 50's Funeral Plans" - One more for the blocked list!

Called, asked if I wanted to give up smoking (I don t smoke). I hung up and added the number to the barred caller list...!

This number calls and then hangs up when answered. Is it because i am a man? Does the caller think a woman will be an easier touch?

These people rang my pay as you go mobile I have for emergencies.I don t often give out my number but it is registered as a contact number with my dogs microchip details which comes with 4 weeks free insurance.

This number called today and I didn t have time to Google it before answering. Said they were from American Express, only asked for half my postcode and they knew the type of card I held and how long I have had it. He was trying to sell an identity/credit rating protection (Platinum protect plus I believe). He was polite, when I said I wasn t interested he was pleasant. Got a call off a generic sounding girl called Hannah who was adamant that I have had an accident recently. I kept saying I haven t and she hung up. I rang back and asked why she hung up (which she didn t answer). She persisted to know about my accident history. Sound very dodgy to me

Girl with indistinct squeaky voice ... eventually ... poor line but could make out "... accident that was not your fault ..." This came 5 minutes after another "unknown" number that I had just checked on this site and now know know who it was, because I need my tumble dryer fixing before it bursts into flames.
