Texted me to say 'thank you' for completing the BT broadband survey, invited me to reply with "NEXT" to have Openreach carry out repairs free of charge. I had not completed a survey so it's obviously a scam. Very convincing text with no spelling mistakes.

Part of a travel scam company, Travel Performance or Travel Junction. They scam sell you flights under duress. Block and report.

Spam. Was an automated message with threat that my internet is going to be disconnected. I have a BT line, so I put the phone down on it and then picked it up and waited for dial tone and then dialled 1572, which allowed me to block the last calling number. Not sure if that blocking facility works on other providers landlines. But worth a try. It's a neat facility.

Thought I was confirming my phone number to a McAfee website, closed browser within a minute (when I realised it was a scam site as it just had mcafee in the web address but was nothing to do with mcafee.com) and within a minute, a man with an extremely heavy and thick Indian accent called, immediately said he was from Microsoft and wondered whether I needed any help. Telephone 01782256242 was the number I picked up from distinguishes 1471 yet when I google this number it comes up for 01782256242 - someone supposedly from Microsoft asking about my computer at 07:13 in the morning, told him I didn’t have a computer and git cut off
