SCAM FRAUD Scammer claiming to be from Starling. He will try to get you to approve a high value transaction, he tried £751. I used him to check if my info actually was leaked and then I rejected the transaction and cancelled my card lol. Pretty funny call, although dangerous to those who aren’t very IT literate. I hope the lad is able to find a job soon so he can stop the scams, assuming he actually wants to stop…

SCAM I have this afternoon received a telephone call purporting to be National Grid Meter Department and confirming a date and time to change meter as they said it was over charging. Suggested a refund available since last year of £652.23 Offered a booking slot and advised the new meter number as E14UP04L89. I have listed this as scam SCAM but I do answer unknown out of the blue calls. I believe that if the caller dosen't bother to leave a message, it can't be serious and is probably up to no good. As soon as the caller got the answerphone message they immediately killed the call.
