SCAM. Pretending to be from BT. Saying there is something wrong with my internet even though they are not my provider. When questioned if they're really from BT, used offensive language, swearing.

They have never got any further than the answer machine, they they are always silent - if rung back to see who/what they are - it is so distorted and accented that it sounds like a drunk Chinese robot. Now blocked.

Foreign sounding guy rang trying to tell me I needed to change life assurance cover because of new government legislation. When I told him I worked for a financial advisor who handed all my financial needs he persisted to argue with me, after telling him three times I was not interested and to take my name off his list I ended up hanging up on him. Annoying argumentative man.

Uninsured Loss Chasers based in the Manchester area who route calls through different exchanges when they ring. Never use the same number twice and impossible to track down to complain. Not the way a reputable company would do business. Crooks.

Well this is some landline from Manchester area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are two facts : people do search for this number which can be seen from different similar pages, and there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated, all the same 016176801xx) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Probably calling with different offers for different comapnies, but for sure some general call centre. People did someone answer it?

SCAM This number is actually owned by a legitimate person who has nothing to do with the automated calls received, pertaining to be from Amazon. They have stolen the number and are using it to scam people for their credit card details. I believe they have now found a way to generate random numbers that will show up on your call display, yet are not from the sender.
