I answered today and said the same thing - so checked what information they had on my address etc, and have the correct address, have asked for the information, and will check it out when I receive it. I asked where they had obtained my information from and he said from an online form I had completed, and as I have recently, this would seem feasible, as the databases are available to purchase in the telemarketing world. I am listing this number as harrassment (likely scam) because I had 5 withheld calls after midnight which I subsequently blocked - followed immediately by this number which is now also blocked. I m guessing origin is overseas as UK callers would know not to call after midnight!

They rang me earlier on a different number and as that number is blocked they now try and ring on this number. when told I wanted to be removed like I told the guy who rang me other day she became angry and abusive. The Indian lady asked for a person, who is a fictional character I use in a game. So, obviously that game was either hacked, or they were willing to sell on my information including my mobile telephone number! So annoyed NO-ONE has yet put the effort into tracing, fining and STOPPING these nuisance calls!

Had a bunch of missed calls from this number. When I finally managed to answer, the person on the other line just said "Goodbye" and the call got disconnected. Come to think of it, it sounded more like a robo-voice than an actual human being. Probably was some computer-generated call. I just wonder what they were trying to accomplish with it?!

Scammer - Says they are BT openreach, then proceeds to say there is a problem with the router and you need to give them details to fix it. When I said I don't have BT services, the guy said "I know, BT is the only distributer over the country!" Really? Perhaps they need to do their homework. Third attempt these idiots have tried in the last 3 days.

SCAM / SPAM Appears to be a banking scam. Received a text message saying that I had successfully paired a new device and should click on a link if I hadn’t recently paired a new device. The link is to a fake Halifax website which asks for login details. I phoned the Halifax and they told me it was a scam. The worrying thing is that they knew my name, number and that I bank with the Halifax! Beware!!

Had call from this number... Some woman asking whether id Hbeen in a car accident. Told her to do one and blocked the number.
Asked me to give the email so I could be sent information on my internet and "system updates", when I started asking questions she hung up. Avoid.
Text saying it was from o2 and my account had been suspended as payment hadn't been processed. No payment was due and account was still active.
