They call me everyday for the last 2 weeks - never leave a message. Not worth it.

Claimed to work for payment protection for all of the big banks and also knew my current address. Heard him bring up PPI after 5 minutes of miscommunications an told him to go to hell.

Possibly in relation to WarrantyWise web request for quote.

No idea who called! Male caller said hello and I responded. No further conversation but could hear busy call centre background. Blocked the number as it is from a call centre.

I also got this call: at 18.49 on 11 June 2014. Chinese or Japanese voice I think. I recognised it from the scam publicity. Claimed to be Microsoft Security Dept and that there...

Called - did not leave message...... when i called them back was told (by recording) that they were the claims team and would call back!!

This is not from alpha galaxy. The company is a hoax misusing the name of a popular firm in Malaysia.

3 a day, most days. A month ago wanted a quote but declined to take it up...have asked for them to stop but the calls keep coming.

Like another person wrote on here, I said no to the insurance on the website, the person was friendly enough and accepted no thanks, but I didn t consent to my number being used in that way, only for delivery info (i.e. time slot) to be given. Always ask them security questions, they got the order number correct and I don t know if there is a scam where they say they ll take away the old appliance for free, and then somehow charge you or possibly sign you up for insurance even though you said no, idk. Receieved a call from this number a few minutes ago. Not sure why someone from Oswestry would want to call me but answered anyway. Very obviously a call centre fronm the background noise so I was quite happy to have a chat but unfortunately the call was dropped. Oh well, no fun to be had here so 01691 numbers are blocked.

Caller said "Hello, hello" in a foreign voice (TIP - repeatedly pressing your hash button in reply ends the call)

Said it was HMRC. Threatened legal action. Wording used - something like "face the consequences" shows it up as a scam. Also a recorded mechanical voice.

Just got a call and was silent at first then an indian man answered so put the phone down.

calls every other day - marketing - lies about previous contact and will not give their company name out and are incredibly rude. Keep calling even though we are reg. with TPS. They ignore requests to remove number from their list and continue to call.

This number is becoming a dangerous nuisance. Surely these people know when they call us the number they call is into a direct Trauma Centre. Then to hang up and for a member of staff to use precious time trying to make a contact in case it may be life threatening is even more annoying. We can understand how the general public feel with some of these stupid UNLAWFUL calls from these people are made. I sometimes wonder if these are not generated from Government Departments as calling back is blocked by music

Just answer the call and put the phone down, on speaker if you can so you can hear them getting frustrated. Or if you have the time and inclination fabricate a fib about working...

I missed this call, rang back and it was apparently an invalid number.
