Received a dropped call at 12:43 on 7/11/17. Added it to my blocked caller list on Plusnet Protect.

As with the others, pre-recorded message about pension bonus. This is the 3rd this week.

Just spoken to O2 regarding this number and the calls my wife had been getting. They confirmed that the number does belong to O2 and is not a scam, it is their Customer Research (for want of a better description) calling to ensure she was getting the right deal for her and to see if she wanted to upgrade, so I suppose they re Market Research/Sales. Perfectly safe to answer. If in doubt, just don t give answers to questions you feel uncomfortable about.

Was a woman telling me she was from an official government agency, and that my bank were frauding my "platinium account".

This number has called my mobile at around midday twice in the last week. Answered the first time but no-one there. Ignored the second ring today. Having found these other comments I shall not be answering in future either. Thanks

Got a call from this number claiming I had been in an accident. When I asked them where they got my number from they said it was from accident statistics. I said no that is a lie where did you really get it from they said ok then hung up

Has regularly called each day for some weeks but never leaves a voicemail. I never take 08 calls as I feel they re notorious for belonging to folks looking to do some sort of business or wanting to make money from me in some way - I shall be the one to choose who I engage and intend to pay for ANY service, and not the person who happens to come across my number somehow. Trustworthy the number is, however they are simply trying to sell you more cover etc which was very annoying as I presumed there was an issue at first with my order thus why I called it back while I was very busy.

Accident claims experts ...according to their records I had a road accident 2 years ago which left me unable to work!?! Told them I hadn t but if they insist on numerous phone calls to tell me then feel free to send me the compo cheque as I could do with the dosh, at which point they became quite abusive and hung up.
