Fraud. Asian sounding male claiming to be calling from Sky refund department and they were refunding £202. I ended the call. I don't have Sky, so obvious fraud, probably attempting to get my bank details

Claimed to be doing market research on behalf of banking industry. Told the young lady very politely that I don't do market research over the phone. As I have just returned home from a long stay in hospital, I found this call quite distressing.

He starts by saying he is doing a research on working habits, and tries to find if you are an investor? your investing profile? how much you invest? He then says he will publish the results of the study and that his client will be contacting you to offer investment opportunities. In conclusion, it is a "fishing" scheme using a research survey has an excuse to engage you.

This number rings about 7 or 8 times in a week. Usually I let it go to the answerphone where they just keep saying "hello hello" and eventually realise it s not a person at the other end.
