I doubt that very much, also pet peeve but called me by my first name which suggests they have more information than I would care to give.I had to stop his spiel to ask him to remove my information which he couldn t do so I ve hung up. I have just been called by this number who immediately wanted to take me through security! All sounded very legit but just something in the back of my mind made me think that anyone could call up and start asking for my date of birth etc etc and why would I give that info to a complete stranger!!! I told them they needed to write to me instead (he said they already had - ha, ha) and then put the phone down. Looked up this number and guess what - loads of people who have had calls from the same number!

Phoned me. I don t answer numbers I don t recognize. I have voicemail no message left.

This is a debt collection company. Often long term or aging debt is sold and the purchasing collection agency makes profit by aggressively chasing that debt. They use any data they can get to bug you typically to begin with by using automated dialers and recorded style messages. They do not check the age of the data or if they do they ignore it.
