They are a company of scammers who make money in various ways out of people who answer their calls. Do not answer their calls. Add 08005979840 to your phones blocked list.

Missed call

It is one of those days.....I have had three of these calls in one morning when exceptionally busy. Criminals make up these numbers - all fake and nearly always different - to call me to try to persuade me to fall for their story that there is something wrong with my computer or internet connection. Their aim is to persuade me to believe their lies and allow them to infect it with something that would be very serious if I fell for their story that they represent Talk Talk or B.T. It varies. Coughed and hung up when I answered.

Second call received from John at computer maintenance. First time when I told him that there wasn t a computer at this number he hung up, hoped this would deter further calls. But following day different time he phoned again told him that still didn t have computer and wanted to be taken off their database at which point he hung up. Waiting to see if they ring again.

Get an air horn and blast if down the phone, they won't call again.

A man said "Yeahhh man I m from Microsoft". He told me my windows update wasn t working " at that point I told him I worked in IT and I know what i m doing and hung up. Do not let these people access your computer.

I ve been getting calls from these scammers for close on 6 months now, quite often twice a day. I tried reporting them to BT s nuisance call bureau and they tried to sell me a phone that block international calls!!! It s strange how BT outsources a lot of it s services to India , (BT customer services, etc) and the scamming calls are also coming from India? I ve even had one of these scammers say he was with BT Internet, instead of the usual "I m from Windows services" or "I m from Microsoft Windows service

I had a minor motor incident and claimed on the other driver s policy 2 years ago. These ****s call me EVERY day, sometimes twice a day, despite me telling them not tonand asking to have my no. removed from their database. They know Ive made some kind of claim. Her insurer MUST have sold my no. illegally (data protection). Sadly i didnt keep the insurer s details.
