this is a SCAM, they call disguised as a debt collector via a mobile saying you owe money for a High Court Writ and they will call at a given time so its best you pay immediatley. Its a scam.

Strongly suspect this is a scammer phone because (a) we don't believe EE employs phone sales people who cannot speak clearly in English, and (b) it's a new unsearched, unreported number, so unlikely to be EE.

SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:02 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. SCAM recorded message saying from my Bank that 2 amounts in my bank account and to call them by pressing certain numbers etc!!! Didn’t of course and put the phone down. I only answered as it was from my area, Oxford! They have tried before about 6 months ago. Be careful.

SCAM - Missed the call and dialled back. Automated message confirms company name as Equifirst. Further investigation seems to suggest it is a scam online investment racket. There is a legitimate company with the same name selling horse feed, but they are not located in the UK nor have an 020 number. Avoid!

Fraud. A recorded voice told me that my visa card was being used to purchase something in the region of £600. I was supposed to press '1' but the voice didn't say what for!! I tried calling the number but it doesn't exist. Beware!
