We assumed they were Domestic and General (who we've had policy with for years) as they knew our dishwasher cover was about to expire. Gave them bank details and renewed. Thought it was strange as it felt fishy. Phoned Domestic and General who said it wasn't them so now we are covered by two companies. Now trying to get some money back from Domestic Assure. Shouldn't have given bank details but they knew about our machine so convincing.

When I called back, I got a recorded message: "You were called by Solar Panel Funding. If you do not wish to be called again, please press 1 or hold and we will connect you to the next available agent. " When I stayed on the line, the call was answered by a human "Hello. Tried to scam me by calling my phone and asked for my email address. Then I was told to check my email for a password to allow her to add me to her address list because she allegedly lost her list. When I checked the email message it was a code authorizing to reset my Facebook password, so I did not give the information. This person was even messaging in our native dialect. She avoided talking to me live though when I answered her call the first time, and just sent the message asking for my email.

Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I asked her where this accident allegedly took place and she said 'in Glasgow' and I asked when it had taken place and she said 'last month' and I said that this was a phishing call. 'No' she said 'This information had been passed on by the database of accidents' (or something like that). As this was clearly untrue as we have had no accidents in more than 2 decades, I asked her to update the database and remove my details. She
