New my name said they were NHS asking about COVID had I had any symptoms in last few days. Had I had COVID jab How did I feel afterwards Then life insurance because of COVID they were giving me something free. I said I would check with my doctor ,got annoyed with me and shouted I said I NHS would not ring me about insurance .He hung up.This was very clearly an Indian speaking male.

SCAM I leave my answerphone on permanently for call screening. This number called this morning and the recorded message must have started before the answerphone greeting had finished with the result that I only got a very small part of the message left. After doing an online insurance comparison on go compare, they call 2 or 3 time in quick succession until you answer. They are just following up your quotation, but if I do a comparison on line, it s because I don t want the hassle of talking to people like this on the phone. Ironically, they were the cheapest quote but it did put me off a little. I ve still got 2 days to decide and will probably go with them so they don t really need to be doing these "follow up" calls.
